At the time, Shelton was still married to Kanyette Williams, but that didn’t seem to stop him from pursuing Lambert. A year later, in 2006, Shelton and Williams parted ways, and he and Lambert began dating. They were engaged after four years of dating and eventually got married in 2011. However, this relationship eventually fell apart.
