However, the love story between Triple H and his on-screen partner, Stephanie McMahon, began off-screen and behind Chyna’s back, causing a rift in their relationship. Eventually, Levesque and McMahon tied the knot in 2003, paving the way for them to become the power couple of the WWE. Sadly, Lauer struggled with drug addiction and passed away in 2016, leaving behind a complicated legacy.
