Reactions to the Find From the Fishermen
Why were they initially so concerned about a shark? Just an animal, that’s all. They wanted to make sure they finished before the deadline, so they continued working. Indeed, the entire bunch of fisherman didn’t seem to agree on much. Others believed the doctor’s warning at face value and knew the shark would definitely bite them if they let it free at this time.
The fact that this group was in the majority was fortunate for the shark and the doctor, but the shark continued to try to attack, so the fisherman were able to stop it with the metal plates they had brought as supplies. Yet this action has one significant flaw. They had to keep moving in order to continue obstructing the shark’s course since they could not totally block its path.
