4. Plain Yogurt Is Always a Better Option Against Flavored One

Some dairy products are loved for their low GI (glycemic index). But the “embellishment” with the toppings like syrups and fruit can elevate the index. The best way is to use plain, non-flavored yogurt. You may add fresh fruits and nuts for the natural flavor.
